Our school was honoured to host Mrs. Claudia Jatindar Varma for a special visit. An alumna of Channing School in England, Mrs. Varma holds a degree in French & European Studies and a postgraduate degree in Theatre Design. Beyond her academic achievements, she is a woman of diverse interests, ranging from model making and gardening to a deep passion for music and vintage fashion.
Mrs. Varma’s connection to India is profound; she shared that she returns frequently because her "heart and soul feel at peace" within our rich culture.
To celebrate her visit, the school organized a vibrant cultural showcase:
The Art of Dandpatta: Students performed a powerful demonstration of this traditional martial art, paying tribute to the legendary era of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Lezim Performance: Our younger students energized the atmosphere with a rhythmic musical dance using Lezim, showcasing local folk traditions.
Deeply moved by the warm reception, Mrs. Varma concluded her visit with an inspiring message to the students. She emphasized the importance of developing psychomotor skills through hands-on creative work. Her final advice encouraged everyone to follow their passions with sincerity: "Do the things you love, and put your whole heart and effort into them."

Flood Relief Initiative by Chhatrapati Shahu Vidyalaya
Chhatrapati Shahu Vidyalaya has always been at the forefront in standing up for the community at large / standing up against adversities.
Under the canopy of Shri. Shahu Chhatrapati Maharaj and the guidance of our Director Mrs. Rajshree Patil, the school took initiative in helping the recently flood affected areas of Marathwada. An overwhelming response was given by the parents in donating food items, stationery and school uniforms.
This effort was a true testament to the sensitivity and collective generosity of our students and staff members. We firmly believe that participating in the effective act of service will inspire and strengthen the feeling of selfless help in the minds and hearts of our school children for years to come.
